Family Concerts

These special concerts are designed to offer families the opportunity to experience a full orchestra concert in a kid-friendly format. The concert is scheduled for a weekend afternoon and includes orchestral selections that tell a story and help open the doors to the wonder and enjoyment of fine music.

Previous concerts presented include The Snowman, My Many Colored Days by Dr. Seuss, and Mr. Smith’s Composition, as well as Peter and the Wolf.  An “instrument petting zoo” held at the end of the concert offers an up-close and hands-on look at the orchestra.
